Appliance Repair Service Agreement — ARS Repair Inc.
Thank you for choosing ARS Repair Inc. for your appliance repair needs. Our goal is to provide fast, reliable service with clear expectations. By scheduling service with us and allowing our technician to begin work, you agree to the terms outlined below.
Please take a moment to review these terms carefully.
Scheduling and Appointments
We offer service appointments between 9 AM and 5 PM, Monday through Saturday. Your appointment time will be assigned based on technician availability and proximity. A 3-hour service window will be confirmed with you one day before your appointment.

Confirmation is required by either phone or email (no need to confirm through both).

Failure to confirm may result in a loss of your reserved time slot.

For part installation appointments, we’ll schedule once the parts have arrived.
To ensure the best experience, please make sure that parking is available. Inaccessible parking may cause delays or service cancellations.
Service Call Fee
A $120 + tax service call fee applies to all service visits. This fee covers:

The technician’s travel to your location

A full diagnostic assessment of the appliance issue
Important:

The service call fee is non-refundable.

If you move forward with the repair, the fee is credited toward your final repair cost.

If the issue is found to be unrelated to the appliance itself (such as plumbing, electrical, installation issues, or venting), the service fee still applies.
Think of the service call fee as a deposit toward your repair, not an added charge.
Estimates and Approval
Repair estimates are valid for 7 days from the date issued. Any deposit or payment toward parts or labor confirms your acceptance of the estimate and these terms.
Payment Policy
Payment is due upon completion of the repair. We accept major credit cards but do not accept checks or e-transfers.

Overdue payments are subject to a 1.5% monthly late fee or the maximum allowed by law.

Customers are responsible for all collection costs, including attorney fees, if necessary.
Warranty Coverage
Our repairs are backed by a 90-day limited warranty on the same issue we originally addressed.

This warranty applies only to the specific problem repaired, not unrelated failures.

Warranty is non-transferable and does not cover damage caused by misuse, improper installation, pests, weather, or relocation of the appliance.

Additional service calls for unrelated or new issues will incur a separate service fee.
Cancellations and Missed Appointments
We require at least 12 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.

Late cancellations, no-shows, or failure to provide access will result in a $60 cancellation fee.

Please communicate promptly if you cannot keep your appointment — even leaving a voicemail or email counts.
Repair Charges
Our pricing is based on the type of repair and what’s needed to resolve the issue, not by hourly rates. This allows fair, transparent pricing based on the work involved.
Liability Release
By choosing ARS Repair Inc., you agree to release us from liability for damages that may result from:

Appliance movement (if requested by the customer)

Water leaks or flooding during service

Glass cooktop breakage during necessary disassembly

Cooling failures or damage unrelated to the repair itself
We work with care, but certain risks are inherent when servicing appliances.
Service Specialization
Our focus is on repair, not replacement.
We:

Repair and replace parts when available.

Do not manufacture or control part availability timelines.

Often work as third-party technicians for warranty providers (but we are not the warranty issuer).
Customer Responsibilities
To ensure a smooth service visit:

An adult (18+) must be present during service.

Appliances must be easily accessible. We are not responsible for moving stacked units unless requested (and liability is waived).

Appliances should be empty before service.
-
No smoking near the technician.
-
Service cannot proceed if appliances are not installed according to the manufacturer’s standards.
Parts Policy
We use original or equivalent quality parts.

Warranty covers replacement of failed parts during the warranty period (customer pays shipping/handling).

Electrical and special-order parts are non-returnable.

Parts returned within 15 days are subject to a 25% restocking fee. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Installation Terms
Our installation fees cover basic removal and installation only — not plumbing, gas, or electrical modifications. Compliance with local codes is the customer’s responsibility.
If a second person is required for installation (e.g., stacked washer/dryer units), additional labor charges apply.
Extended Warranty / Manufacturer Service Contracts
If you’re using a manufacturer’s warranty or service contract:

We will bill your provider, but you remain responsible for any unpaid balance.

If the provider does not cover the cost, payment is due within 10 days of billing.
Damage Waivers
We cannot be held responsible for:

Appliance movement damage (if requested by customer)

Leaks or flooding during water-related service

Breakage of glass cooktops during disassembly

Cooling issues unrelated to the repair itself

Refusal of Service
ARS Repair Inc. reserves the right to refuse service in cases of unsafe conditions or disruptive behavior. A service fee may still apply if refusal is due to these reasons.
Additional Policies

A credit card hold of $1 may be placed at booking for authorization.

A credit card is required to schedule service.

Same-day service may be available depending on technician availability.

A difficult parking fee may apply in certain high-traffic urban areas.
